Senior Software Engineer - We are working with an exciting, pre-seed funded, AI start-up to hire several Software Engineers who will be using generative AI, large language models (LLMs) and prompting techniques to revolutionise the software engineering process. The Founders have hugely impressive backgrounds from top tech companies and have successfully scaled multiple start-ups. The product uses generative AI to provide end-to-end automation for everyone involved in the complex product engineering lifecycle. This is more than code generation/reviews!

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will have autonomy to find elegant solutions to highly technical problems using your knowledge of prompt engineering and LLMs. As part of the 'Seed' team of a well-funded company, you will have the opportunity to shape the product and culture from the ground up. They believe in fostering an environment where Software Engineers take ownership of problems and are comfortable working closely with product to define and create solutions.

What are they looking for in a Senior Software Engineer?

• Extensive knowledge of designing and building solutions to complex problems at scale.
• They predominantly use Python, although proficiency in any object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python is fine.
• It would be great if you had experience with prompt generation systems or natural language processing.
• Familiarity with the latest research on prompt engineering and generative AI models, specifically LLMs.
• Good understanding of Cloud-based deployments and familiarity with DevOps processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
