The Company:

I'm working with a global market leader who have been operating successfully for more than a century. Offering appliance warranty and aftercare, supporting some of the major retailers across the UK.

They look after approximately 25m appliances per year, for 18 million customers worldwide. They look after the entire aftercare journey, from insurance and warranty, to claims and repairs.

They have recently secured significant private equity investment to kickstart an exciting and transformative business plan, seeking to enhance the digitalisation of customer journeys, introduce cutting-edge generative AI to their platform, increase their product portfolio, and enhance their international expansion. That's where you come in!

The Role:

We are looking for a Senior FrontEnd Developer, specialising in React, React Native and TypeScript, to be a part of a brand new team in the business. You will be front and center to their exciting transformation to increase their success on the global stage.

This project would see you working on a business-critical expansion into a key strategic market. You would be working on a brand-new platform for the business, integrating key software and building out a plethora of new features and improvements. The work you would be doing will help to cement their place as the global market leader.

The Team:

You will be one of the first engineers in a groundbreaking new team in the business, working alongside several other engineers to build out and enhance this exciting new platform.

You'll be working adjacent to the Digital arm of the business, responsible for onboarding and supporting a high number of B2B and B2C customers. Across the company there are circa 45 developers, with each team possessing up to 6 developers with either a frontend or backend focus, with a Product Owner, BA, Tester and Scrum Master. These horizontal teams are key for their architectural sanctity as they continue to grow, also enabling engineers to play to their strengths whilst getting exposure to new areas.
